Thank You for Waking Me Up
Sometimes inspiration comes from the people who support you. Sometimes it comes from the people who doubt you. And sometimes, it comes from a single sentence that completely changes the way you look at everything. Recently, someone said something to me that I haven't been able to stop thinking about: "We all use each other." At first, it didn't sit well with me. The more I thought about it, though, the more I realized that it wasn't the statement itself that affected me—it was what it reminded me of. It reminded me of who I used to be. Ten or fifteen years ago, I had a completely different mindset. I wasn't worried about numbers, algorithms, engagement, sponsorships, or whether people approved of what I was creating.
